SC Villa delivered a breathtaking performance at Muteesa II stadium, securing an overwhelming 6-1 victory over Wakiso Giants FC in a match that showcased their dominance and clinical finishing.
The game got off to an electrifying start when Charles Lwanga gave SC Villa the lead in the 14th minute, slotting the ball past the Wakiso Giants’ goalkeeper. SC Villa continued to assert their superiority, doubling their lead in the 32nd minute through a well-placed strike by Patrick Jonah Kakande.
By the 51st minute, the home side’s confidence was unshakable as Hakim Kiwanuka extended the lead to 3-0 with a clinical finish. Although Wakiso Giants responded just six minutes later with a goal from Marvin Oshaba, it was clear that the visitors had little chance of halting SC Villa’s momentum.
Kiwanuka was again at the heart of the action, scoring his second goal of the match in the 64th minute to make it 4-1. Reagan Mpande then piled on the misery for Wakiso Giants, adding a fifth goal in the 75th minute, much to the delight of the home fans.
With time running out, SC Villa capped off their magnificent display in the 86th minute when David Owori found the back of the net, completing the 6-1 rout and leaving the visiting side deflated.

In other results, Mbarara City FC claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over Mbale Heroes FC. Joseph Akandwanaho’s second-half strike in the 55th minute was the difference, securing the win for Mbarara City.
