Police FC claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Wakiso Giants FC in an intense Uganda Premier League (UPL) clash. Isaac Ogwang put Police FC ahead in the 15th minute, but Abdul Ssemakula leveled for Wakiso in the 30th. Brian James Obedi’s crucial strike five minutes later restored the hosts’ lead, which they held onto until the final whistle.

In another fixture, UPDF FC secured an impressive 2-0 win over BUL FC on the road. Christopher Kamagu opened the scoring in the 26th minute, giving UPDF the edge at halftime. Brian Kalumba’s late goal in the 87th minute sealed the victory, ensuring a comfortable finish for the visitors.
These wins mark a significant boost for Police FC and UPDF FC in the league standings. Police FC demonstrated resilience at home, while UPDF FC displayed composure and sharp finishing in an away masterclass.
